A. Contractor shall supply sports officials for Adult Basketball. B. Contractor shall employ and make arrangements for the appropriate number of officials. The City and not the Contractor shall schedule and reschedule games and shall be responsible for scheduling and rescheduling the use of facilities. Games shall be played on Mondays and Fridays. 2 Courts shall be used with three games playing on each per day giving, a total of 12 games per week dependent upon weather and amount of registered teams. C. Officials assigned by Contractor shall: 1. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age. 2. Appear neatly groomed and in a uniform appropriate for applicable Sport. 3. Be at the appropriate site at least fifteen (15) minutes before the scheduled game time and ensure the field or floor (“facility”), and the facility equipment is in good, safe and in working condition. 4. Have at least one (1) of the officials assigned by Contractor to a game conduct a pregame conference with team coaches. 5. Determine the playability of the respective facility in accordance with the applicable sport. 6. Be expected to maintain acceptable order during the game in an effort to discourage unsportsmanlike conduct from parents, coaches, and participants. D. Contractor shall ensure that all officials used by Contractor are familiar with, abide by, and enforce the rules and bylaws of the respective sport and league pertinent to that sport which such official is assigned. E. Contractor shall be available to both City and assigned officials at respective game times and shall maintain open communication at all times.
