Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) is seeking an experienced consulting firm (Respondent) to administer Metropolitan’s current Water Standby Charge Program. Metropolitan’s water standby charge program is authorized under Section 134.5§ of the Metropolitan Water District Act. Consultant shall ensure that Metropolitan’s water standby charge is imposed, via the annual property tax bills, on all non-exempt property in Metropolitan’s service area. Consultant shall maintain a computer data base system of hardware and software (standby charge database – see Section 2, Scope of Services for specific data elements) for the six counties within Metropolitan’s services area, which are Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura.
