Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit bids for furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the turn-key Access Control System (ACS) for up to 21 schools, located in Chesterfield County, VA. The ACS will give CCPS staff card swipe access to multiple exterior doors at each building, will have controlled hours of authorized entry, and eliminate the need for most staff to have exterior building keys. This system will allow CCPS to grant various Chesterfield County public safety partners card access to multiple doors at each school which will allow emergency access in response to armed assailants, fires, medical emergencies, or other crisis situations.
