General: The project includes demolition, mechanical work, electrical gear replacement, and sitework at the Millard H. Robbins Jr. Regional Water Reclamation Plant (RWRP) at 14631 Compton Road, Centreville, Virginia 20121-2506. The Work in accordance with the Contract Documents includes, but is not limited to: 1. Pump Station 28/1: a. Demolition of existing pump circuits and replacement with new, overhead circuits and cable tray 2. Building P: a. Reconnect pump circuits to MCCs b. Demolish abandoned conduits A complete description of the Work can be found in the Contract Documents. B. The Work includes interconnection to existing facilities while other portions of the facilities remain in continuous service. Organization of the Contractor’s schedule and sequencing of the Work are necessary components of the Work to achieve this requirement. Reference Section 01 31 13, Project Coordination.
