The Virginia Department of corrections seeks to contract with one contractor to purchase ONE (1) each of an ANCO Mixer, Model # 3310A-05V, Heavy Duty Flocculator drive, brand name or approved equivalent, with the following salient features: Gear Reducer with a 1/2 HP, 1730 RPM, 460 volt, 3-phase, 60 cycle TEFC, gearmotor provided with a canopy, traction disc type mechanical variable speed drive with adjustment handwheel . The mixer drive shall be a helical gearbox, splash lubricated. The output shaft rotates at 6.0 to 30.0 RPM. The reducer input shaft is driven by the mechanical variable speed drive. An output coupling is provided and should mate to the existing shaft coupling. The drive output flange is the same as the existing unit and should bolt to the existing mount plate.
