Qualified Offeror(s) will be requested to perform actuarial services for the following programs: Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, Hearing, Behavioral Health and Vision Self-Insured Benefits - The primary focus of this scope of work is to make recommendations regarding the funding levels that are needed to maintain the self-funded medical, prescription, dental, hearing, behavioral and vision plans for each plan year. This includes the evaluation of the funding levels to determine any deficit or is projected to exist within the self-funded fund. The annual analysis includes an evaluation of projected claims and administrative expenses, current trend factors and producing/modeling projections (include potential plan design changes) to estimate total plan costs. GASB 75: Annually the Commonwealth issues an actuarial report on the valuation of the OPEB (Other Post-Employment Benefits). This report is used for year-end entries by all the state agencies and is posted to the DHRM website by August 1st and is included in the APA audit.
