1. Deliver approximately 55 cubic yards of VDOT Approved A3 Concrete to VDOT Bridge #11649 located on Route 655 in Lunenburg County. The delivery will be on two separate dates and the amounts of these two separate deliveries will equal approximately 55 cubic yards. 2. The contractor shall perform two (2) separate pours. The first pour will be estimated 40 to 45 yards, and the second pour will be estimated 5 yards or less. 3. Tentative dates for the pours: August 7, 2025, and August 24, 2025, depending on weather. 4. Slump: 4-to-5-inch slump 5. Contractor shall use small aggregate in the concrete mix to allow for pumping through a pump trailer. 6. All concrete will need to be delivered on the south side of the bridge. Drivers will need to drive down Route 643 New Grove Road, turn left onto Route 655 Plank Road and the job site will be approximately 1-mile down Plank Road.
