Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the purposes of entering into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural/Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, with experience in design of campus data network infrastructure for academic, research and auxiliary facilities for higher education. The project will include inside plant and outside plant infrastructure. In addition to cabling, inside plant will include improvements/enlarging of telecom rooms, added HVAC, added access controls, lighting improvements, and electrical improvements within the telecom rooms. The outside plant infrastructure work may require landscape and site design including hard and soft scape improvements to reestablish the preexisting condition.
