Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolition and removal of existing buildings Sitework All work to occur in a tight urban area Design & construction of a of a multi-story parking garage housing between 200-300 parking spaces; The project site lies within a City of Charlottesville Architectural Design Controlled District (Downtown ADC) Some degree of street level commercial shell space is anticipated Some degree of utility relocation or reconfiguration is anticipated Public utility studies, surveys, and coordination Subsurface utility engineering and construction, such as those within existing 8th Street Geotechnical engineering and testing Validation of project site conditions and compliance with the owner’s budget Survey All design and construction of the project including, but not limited to, Architecture, Parking Functional, Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire Protection Design, Lighting Design, Environmental Engineering, Civil, Structural & Traffic Engineering, Environmental Graphic Design (signage), Sustainability/Energy. Storm drainage and stormwater management design and construction Earthwork and all temporary shoring/bracing required Site landscaping and hardscape design and construction Signage: as required by building code; as required by City street code; as necessary to provide effective direction to Deck users; as required by ADA Electrical & Lighting Systems: As required for the entire Deck facility (including commercial shell space) and including rough-in for security Building Automation System (BAS): As required for the parking deck (sans commercial shell spaces) Mechanical (HVAC) Systems: As required for the entire Deck facility (including commercial shell space); building design to promote natural ventilation is desired Energy Production and Storage Systems Electric Vehicle Charging Systems
