THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for quotes/bids, the Government is only trying to identify sources interested in and capable of doing this work. A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available currently.
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Minerals Information Center (NMIC), has a requirement for subscriptions for 10 reports on critical minerals. The following is a list of the required reports:
1. Aluminum Premium
2. Lead Premium
3. Zinc Premium
4. Molybdenum Classic
5. Fertilizer Classic
6. Copper Classic
7. Bauxite & Alumina Classic
8. Tin Classic
9. Noble Alloys & Minor Metals Classic
10. Bulk Ferroalloys Classic
The reports must include market analysis, and data sets that forecast and cover global production, production capacity, trade, consumption, demand drivers, and prices.
The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed-price contract for these subscriptions. Issuance of a competitive request for quotations (RFQ) will be determined by the results of this sources-sought notice. Once issued, the RFQ and any documents related to this procurement will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), https://www.sam.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the RFQ and amendments (if any).
The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513120 Periodical Publishers. The NAICS size standard is 1000 employees.
Vendors who can responsibly perform this requirement should submit the following information to Daniel (Dan) Galvin at dgalvin@usgs.gov no later than the closing date of this notice:
1. Name of Business;
2. Small business status (e.g. small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone business, 8(a), etc.);
3. Point of contact information name and email;
4. SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), if any; and
5. Confirmation reports for all 10 minerals can be provided along with a summary of the market analysis, data sets, and forecasts offered.

NOTE: All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary - the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Materials submitted to the Government for review will not be returned. Respondents may not be notified of the results of the evaluation. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses received under this notice.
