1.0 OBJECTIVE. Installation of Building Name Letters for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) barracks Buildings 2301, 2303, 2304.
1.1 Synopsis: Vendor to install building name as individual letters for three AIT barracks buildings. Each building contains 15 letters that will be provided by the vendor. Each letter will contain three or four studs for installation. Vendor will maintain a clean working environment. Vendor must ensure all letters are level and straight. The letters must be secured with no movement and must be able to withstand the elements. Vendor to provide one year warranty on installation.
1.2 Existing Conditions. None
2.0 SCOPE.
2.1 Contractor shall plan and install the letters for Buildings 2301, 2303 and 2304 Jackson Ave. FT Eustis, Virginia. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material required to install the letters. The vendor will provide all letters. The Barracks names are JACKSON BARRACKS (2301) PLASTER BARRACKS (2303) SIMMONS BARRACKS (2304).
2.2 Execution of work shall be IAW the applicable documents and any installation requirements. The contractor shall comply with all local, state, and federal construction codes and all federal wage laws.
2.3 Any individual performing technician services shall have up-to-date certifications or training. The contractor shall provide a list of the personnel performing the work and documentation of their certifications (if required) to the On-Site Representative.
2.4 Work Area Requirements. The contractor shall clean up all debris and discarded materials resulting from their operations at the end of each workday. All waste materials shall be disposed of off FT Eustis unless otherwise approved.
2.5 Warranty. The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for labor at no cost. There will be no reoccurring fees, including parts and labor for all components installed during this task order. The warranty will commence upon Government acceptance of the installation. The contractor shall respond to all warranty requests within 72 hours from the first initial e-mail or phone call.
2.6 There shall be no deviations or substitutions without prior approval from the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall not comply with any order, direction, or request of any government personnel unless it is issued in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer.

3.0 SECURITY.
3.1 All work shall be performed during hours as coordinated with an on-site representative. The on-site representative will ensure the Contractor employees and subcontractors have access to the site five days a week, 0730 to 1700, as a minimum, excluding US Federal holidays. The on-site representative will also ensure access at other times, including weekends and after-duty hours after receipt of a service call.
3.2 The Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all government equipment, information, and property provided for Contractor use. At the close of each work period, government facilities, equipment, and materials shall be secured.

DIMENSIONAL PAINTED SATIN BLACK ALUMINUM LETTERS. LETTERS TO BE FABRICATED FROM .25"
PLATE ALUMINUM, 16" IN HEIGHT, 3/16" STUD MOUNT WITH 1/2" STAND-OFFS.
2. Is there a certain font you want them to be?
I will inquire about the font. If must match all other building names on Fort Eustis IAW AFIs.More to follow
3. Do you have a preferred material for them to be made of? Aluminum?

5. What is the surface material of the barracks where they will be mounted?

6. How high do you want them mounted?
They will be mounted at the top, center of the building. If I had to guess I would say around 50 feet.
