Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed below. Note that the specific requirements are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.
The U.S. Geological Survey¿s Columbia Environmental Research Center (USGS-CERC, Columbia, MO) is looking to procure one (1) Gas Chromatography Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer system to expand our analytical capabilities for conducting measurements of low-level toxic concentrations of organic chemicals in a variety of environmental sample types.
Specifications/Salient Characteristics: The requested system is the Agilent Technologies 8890 gas chromatograph (GC) with the 7010D triple quadrupole mass spectrometer (TQMS) and accompanying instrument control and data analysis software
The following salient characteristics are required:
Gas Chromatograph:
¿ Inlets: both Cool-On-Column and Multi-Mode (or Split-Splitless)
¿ Both manual keypad operations and software operation
¿ Automatic liquid sampler (minimum 50 vial capacity, standard 2-mL vials)
¿ Automated self-diagnostic testing

¿ Ten-year value guarantee, such that vendor shall have ten years¿ guaranteed parts and comprehensive service available or give residual value credit for replacement.
