A. All contract prices included in this Proposal shall be full compensation for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work, as shown on the Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents, to be performed under this Contract. B. The items listed below refer to and are the same pay items listed in the Bid Schedule of Prices. They constitute all the pay items for the completion of the Work. No direct or separate payment shall be made for providing miscellaneous temporary or accessory works, services, layout surveys, job signs, sanitary requirements, testing, safety devices, water supplies, power, maintaining traffic, removal of waste, watchmen, and all other requirements of the General Conditions and Division 1 General Requirements. Compensation for all such services, equipment and materials shall be included in the prices stipulated for the lump sum listed herein. C. Each lump sum price shall be deemed to include an amount considered by the Contractor to be adequate to cover the Contractor’s overhead and profit for each separately identified item. D. For purposes of measurement and payment, the term surface area is defined as the horizontal surface measured from a certified survey. The unit price bid for all items measured in surface area shall account for any necessary slope adjustments. E. Items considered incidental Work shall not be measured for payment or paid for as such unless specified as unit price by items on the bid form. These items and their costs shall be included in the unit prices or lump sum bid for the pay items unless bid separately. Incidental items include but are not limited to the following: 1. Allaying dust and mud 2. Daily cleanup 3. Location of existing utilities 4. Material royalties 5. Offsite disposal of excess excavated, surplus and remnant excavated materials 6. Permits, unless provided by the Owner 7. Removal and replacement of existing signs, fences, mailboxes, and similar existing improvements NOT called out on the plan set, and the furnishing and installation of new signs and signposts as noted 8. Site restoration and cleanup 9. Site security 10. Minor relocation of buried cables, gas lines, water lines, sewer lines, or similar utility lines 2 inches and smaller in diameter 11. Construction entrances 12. Final Surface restoration 13. Protection of existing utilities and other facilities 14. Minor yellow and white roadway stripe replacing of any paint disturbed within the limits of construction
