1. Project Management • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan and timeline for completion of the Combined State Plan update. • Coordinate with agency staff and partner organizations to ensure milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time. 2. Content Development and Coordination • Work collaboratively with partner agency staff and subject matter experts (SMEs) to update content sections within the Combined State Plan. • Compile, edit, and integrate input from multiple partners into a cohesive draft document. 3. Stakeholder and Public Engagement • Plan and facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, including public meetings, virtual sessions, and electronic surveys. • Collect, summarize, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into the draft plan. • Prepare materials and summaries for public comment and VBWD review. 4. Presentations to the Virginia Board of Workforce Development (VBWD) • Provide progress updates to the VBWD in both in-person and electronically. • Present draft content and incorporate feedback from the VBWD members into subsequent revisions. 5. Editing and Quality Assurance • Review and proofread all sections of the Combined State Plan for grammar, accuracy, consistency, and technical compliance. • Ensure the final plan meets DOL requirements and includes all mandated elements. 6. Finalization and Submission • Prepare the final version of the Combined State Plan for electronic submission to the U.S. Department of Labor. • Upload and validate the final plan within the DOL’s federal submission portal. • Provide all final files, supporting documentation, and submission confirmation to the Contract Administrator.
