Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver thirty (30) 11’ x 36” power reversing snowplows, Henderson RSP-11-36- FT-ST, or equivalent as described herein. All the units furnished shall be new and the manufacturer’s current model. No used equipment shall be considered. B. Snowplow for 30,000 to 50,000 lb. GVW truck to be two-way power reversing type, 11’ in length, 36” in height” and weigh not less than 1,800 lbs. C. The plow is to be constructed for high speed operations, reversible from 42 degrees right to 42 degrees left. Plow to have sufficient vertical play on ends of plow to fit shape of pavement. D. Three position attack single adjustment approximately 5 degrees, 10 degrees and 20 degrees. E. Moldboard: Moldboard to have cutting edge not less than 11’ in length with standard punching. Moldboard overall height, including blade, to be approximately 36”. To be constructed of not less than 10 gauge steel. Moldboard to have not less than eight vertical ribs, each ½” x 3-1/2” minimum, or equal. Moldboard ends are to be reinforced with similar ribs or flanges. Horizontal ribs are also to be included according to manufacturer’s standard for plow size and type.
