Specifications include, but are not limited to: Retiring a WWII-vintage diesel engine driven pump at its reservoir pump station
located at 525 Main Street. This engine pump is used only during power outages when our two (2) primary
electric motor driven pumps (150 HP each) are inoperable. The attached design is for the installation of a 300
KW diesel generator with transfer switch to provide electric power to these existing primary pumps now and
to a future new reservoir pump station. 1. Install and commission new 300 KW generator on a concrete pad to the south of existing pump
2. Run conduit (power and control) into the pump station and install new disconnect switches and ATS
3. Run new conduit stub from generator and BED transformer five feet (5’) south of generator for future
4. Provide control conduit/wiring from ATS to existing telemetry panel.
