Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Clinician Contractor to, at a minimum, provide the following functions: 1. Consult with the state or service provider agencies on issues relating to the treatment and supervision of individuals with developmental disabilities who have committed sex offenses or who have a history of inappropriate sexual behavior. 2. Upon request, review treatment and risk management approaches for individuals with developmental disabilities who have committed sexual offenses or have a history of inappropriate sexual and violent behavior including people committed to the custody of the Commissioner of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living pursuant to Act 248 and for individuals with developmental disabilities who have not been adjudicated but are considered to be at risk of committing a sexual or violent offense and receive supports funded by DAIL. This may include making general recommendations regarding improvements for treatment and services by providers, as well as specific recommendations regarding improvements for treatment and services provided to specific individuals. At the time of the request for review by the State, the expected timeframe for Contractor’s response, as well as the form of the response, will be determined by the State and communicated to the Contractor. 3. Upon request, review treatment programs and risk management protocols for non-adjudicated individuals who are considered at risk of committing a sexual or violent offense and are supported by the State. This may include making general recommendations regarding improvements for treatment and services by providers, as well as specific recommendations regarding improvements for treatment and services provided to specific individuals. At the time of the request for review by the State, the expected timeframe for Contractor’s response, as well as the form of the response, will be determined by the State and communicated to the Contractor.
