1. SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: The Contractor will provide the following staffing in support of career advancement activities: The Contractor will provide one 1 FTE Career Advancement Program Manager (CAPM) to be the primary point of contact for the deliverables. This position is responsible for supporting HireAbility participants enrolled in the post-secondary education navigate the institution to realize their full potential. This position works closely with the HireAbility statewide team consisting of vocational counselors, business account managers, and other staff. This position will support vocational counselor knowledge and direct connection to the post-secondary institution and works closely with community partners to identify barriers to career planning and employment attainment. This role is expected to provide direct advising to HireAbility participants with evaluation of employment readiness, preparation, and create plans to transition into employment. 2. TASKS AND DELIVERABLES: Delivery of a series of post-secondary education exploration activities, courses, and other program opportunities for VR enrolled youth and adults with disabilities including the following: A. The Contractor will develop an employment readiness opportunity designed to provide an “on-ramp" to prepare VR enrolled individuals for successful participation in any appropriate courses or program offerings and to transition into employment. The Contractor will consult closely with the DVR and other DVR staff around the content and structure of the opportunity. The opportunity will be designed to support DVR consumers prepare for enrollment in programming that will support their career pathways. This opportunity is to be offered on an on-going, as-needed basis throughout the duration of contract. It is also to be developed in collaboration with DVR. B. The Contractor will support students enrolling in currently offered classes that enable participants to earn college credits and/or industry recognized credentials. Contractor will support participants navigating offerings that directly support identified career paths and lead to earning credits and/or credentials related to their career goals. Contractor will support participants connecting to relevant staff such as assigned student advisor, financial aid counseling, disability services, and career advising. Contractor should also provide support related instruction for pre-apprenticeships and Registered Apprenticeships as part of pursuing career opportunities and job placements. Contractor can also provide specific courses and training from current course offerings. C. The Contractor must: • Provide course and training descriptions and marketing materials to DVR staff. • Create and maintain an application, enrollment and tracking process for participants. • Support participants to earn course credits and related certifications. • Provide DVR with enrollment verification, course/training completion data, and other individual reporting information for each participant.
