Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide onsite language interpretation services for the following languages: Arabic, Burmese, Dinka, French, Karen, Kirundi, Sgaw Karen, Maay Maay, Nepali, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, and Vietnamese, Romanian. If the State notices an increased need for additional languages, Contractor shall add those languages to the above list and make every effort to provide to the State qualified interpreters in the new languages. 2.2.2. If an assigned interpreter becomes unavailable before the appointment happens, Contractor shall make every effort to ensure that another qualified interpreter available for the scheduled appointment. The Contractor shall endeavor to respond to shorter time frames, notably for the Department of Children and Family Services. The Contractor shall offer an on-call cell phone number and website through which the State may request an interpreter for emergency and short notice situations after hours. Contractor shall provide services during regular and outside working hours. State working hours are 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday.
