Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town has completed a conceptual study regarding the consolidation of its two treatment facilities. The conclusion of this study indicated that the best option would be to repurpose each of Shelburne’s wastewater treatment facilities into pump stations and pump the flow to South Burlington’s Bartlett Bay Facility. The purpose of this project is to determine the following: 1. Better define the alignment alternatives and feasibility of the proposed force main (i.e. ROW/Permitting). 2. Better define the associated total project costs for the new piping and pump station infrastructure needed. 3. Define the quantity and quality of wastewater capacity needed for the development of the Bartlett Bay refurbishment PER. 4. Research and report on all possible funding options (eligibility requirements, pros & cons) for the construction of the consolidation project. Highlight options the Town qualifies for. 5. Attend public meetings/hearings on the findings of the report.
