Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Guilford, VT is requesting proposals for the sizing, purchase, and installation of a new LPG emergency power generator to power the Guilford Town Office. The generator shall be a packaged unit including weatherproof/vandal/sound resistant enclosure, cooling system, battery and charging system, transfer switch, concrete pad large enough to accommodate both generator and LPG tank, electrical modifications to accommodate the unit and other items necessary to complete the project. This will also include upgrading electrical service to 200 amps. The Contractor will be responsible for any power company coordination necessary for work at the location. The Contractor will be responsible for post-installation generator start-up and testing. The equipment supplied herein shall be covered by a warranty against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years or 2000 hours of operation. Warranty shall provide for free replacement or repair of parts, including labor for the five (5) year/2000 hour period.
