Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. DESIRED TRAINERS A. Trainers with diverse identities. B. Experience working with Vermont/regional organizations. C. Attention to “triple bottom line” (environmental, social, and economic outcomes). D. Committed track record in understanding racism and effectively begin the discussions around dismantling it. II. DESIRED TRAINING STRATEGIES/METHODS A. Organize and offer to three (3) virtual trainings on the topics of racial equity, diversity, and inclusion. The first training to be offered virtually no later than December 31, 2020. B. Co-facilitate in teams of two or more to bring diverse and multiple perspectives into the trainings. C. Establish group agreements to create brave, respectful learning spaces in which each person’s dignity is honored.
