Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) is soliciting bids from qualified consultants with proven expertise in website design to develop a website for the Friends of Smugglers Notch. The website will be used to increase public knowledge of the Smugglers Notch Scenic Highway and surrounding area. It will also be used as a fundraising tool to support upcoming capital projects. The largest of these projects involves the renovation of Barnes Camp, a historic logging camp, to serve as a visitors and information center. Other projects include relocation of the Long Trail to provide a safer crossing of Route 108, development of a system of interpretive trails, installation of interpretive signage, and enhancement of parking areas.
