Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Working with city staff, develop a list of key contacts and stakeholders for the project. b. Hold a stakeholder public meeting to hear an evaluation of the current system, operational difficulties, and needs for a future system. Meeting minutes must be documented and a summary sent to city staff. City staff will handle publicity and logistics for the public meeting. c. Meet with representatives of any regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over the rights of way or visual characteristics of signage. d. Review pertinent existing planning documents and parking study findings. City staff can provide direction with this review. e. Review Federal, State, and City regulations related to signage in the public right of way including but not limited to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, applicable Vermont state statutes, ADA requirements, and local zoning or other code requirements.
