Specifications include, but are not limited to: In issuing this RFI, the State is seeking to collect information from potential professional development providers that: ● Provide a diverse resource list of individuals, groups, and organizations that educators may use to inform best practices in the specified categories; ● Supports vulnerable student populations (ex: students of color, students with disabilities, English learners, students identifying as LGBTQ, and students qualifying for free and reduced lunch) ● Shows the degree of connection between a provider’s work, the reduction of student performance gaps, and positive impacts on school culture, climate, and policies, as related to educational equity; ● Allows the State to offer references for providers who have previously done work in Vermont LEAs, specifically regarding the equity literacy grants ● Is specific enough to allow local educators to make informed choices about which provider might be a good fit for their schools and LEAs
