Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is to identify a legal services provider (such as a law firm) that can provide expert negotiation and contract guidance, behind the scenes and in the negotiating room, upon request. CUDs are negotiating network operating agreements, construction contracts, and other vendor contracts with a variety of parties. Assistance will include representing individual CUDs and potentially groups of CUDs engaged in contract negotiations for the provision of services, operating agreements, and the purchase of materials. Types of assistance will include expert selection of commercial forms, entity choice, enforcement provisions, negotiations advice, research, and contract drafting and potentially participation in negotiations. Consultant will also be asked to be familiar with the terms of applicant grant conditions to which the CUD is subject, and to provide conflict of interest analysis.
