Specifications include, but are not limited to: ➢ Cognitive and psychomotor Structural Collapse Specialist training f0r 24 USAR students. Training shall be in accordance with the job performance requirements of NFPA 1006. Specialist as well as FEMA National US&R Response System curriculum 4.0. Training shall be divided over 8 days of 10 contact hours each day. Contractor shall provide no less than 3 certified instructors and maintain an 8:1 student to instructor ratio.; ➢ Cognitive portions of the class shall include rescuer safety, structural engineer systems, building construction related to disaster situations, rescue operations strategy and tactics, rescue operational procedures, tool overview, shoring operations.; ➢ Psychomotor portions of the course shall include personal protective equipment, lifting and moving operations, emergency building shoring operations, breaching, and breaking operations with concrete and steel structures.; ➢ The contractor shall provide FEMA equivalent TEEX certificates to the students and USAR Program Manager who complete the training.; ➢ Contractor shall be responsible for setting, re-setting, and preparation of the approved training site for the duration of the 8-day training course delivery.; ➢ The contractor shall provide thru TEEX the Computer-Based Training (CBT) component of Structural Collapse Specialist (Course Code: 9P2630) for each of the 24 student members prior to the in-person course delivery. ; ➢ The contractor shall provide all tools and equipment necessary for the delivery of this course.
