Task 1: Internal Stakeholders The consultant will interview individual board members and staff to assess their perspectives on the organization’s purpose, programming, operations, governance, culture, and financial status. Deliverable: Memo with analysis of internal perspectives Task 2: Workshop 1 The consultant will design and lead a workshop for board members and staff. We will use the consultant’s analysis of the interviews as a basis for developing a shared vision and determining our focus areas for growth and sustainability goals. We will consider what additional perspectives and input are needed and choose methods for addressing the gaps identified. Deliverable: meeting notes Task 3: External Stakeholders Based on the needs and key questions outlined in the workshop in Task 2, the consultant will engage with relevant sector experts, peer/partner organizations, and/or funders. FWR staff will facilitate the connections between the consultant and the selected external stakeholders. Deliverable: interviews completed Task 4: Findings Report The consultant will analyze the input from the key internal and external stakeholders and will provide a summary report that identifies issues, themes, and opportunities for consideration. The report will propose key questions and focus areas for the workshop in Task 5. Deliverable: report Task 5: Workshop 2 The consultant will design and lead a workshop for the board members and staff to discuss the Findings. We will determine priority areas of organizational development and direction that we need to address and identify potential steps to take to achieve the organizational vision and goals for sustainability.
