Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Contractor shall plow all access areas within a given region after a snow fall of four or more inches, or upon request from the Department. 2.2 Contractor shall have at a minimum a 4x4 truck with plow, capable of plowing driveways and large parking lots up to 1 acre in size. 2.3 There are no time intervals for snowplowing operations, but plowing activities must occur within 24 hours of a snowfall and the Contractors must be available seven (7) days a week. 2.4 The Contractor shall take care not to damage buildings, guardrails, utilities, automobiles, structures, curbing, etc. Any damage to the States equipment, the contractor, at no additional cost, shall repair furnishings, facilities or other property of the State. Determination of the need for and extent of any repair work is at the sole discretion of the State of Vermont Project Manager.
