It is the objective of this RFP to revise the proposed development layout to achieve a final design and complete the remaining analyses necessary for the project to attain all applicable local and State permits and to deliver bid documents so the project can move to the construction phase. In addition, an updated unit-priced cost estimate reflecting the revised design will be required; Responders shall provide an outline scope of services addressing the following elements, at a minimum: 1. Final Design Phase a. Existing conditions survey to include limited topographic, utility, boundary, and subdivision plat b. Conceptual planning to revise proposed layout based on the wetland delineation and site constraints c. Final confirmation of the updated site layout (lot count and locations, housing unit capacity, access road, site entrance(s), utilities) conforming to current regulatory requirements, including Barre City UDO. d. Design of an updated (new) site stormwater management system including retention pond(s) e. Integration of a landscaping and lighting plan that adheres to Barre City’s Unified Development Regulations, if applicable to the final site layout f. Preparation of 40 scale construction drawings reflecting the final site layout/design g. Preparation of a Project Manual including Technical Specifications, Project Requirements and Bid Documents h. Coordinate with the City Public Works Director to determine the capacity/ability of the City infrastructure to accommodate this proposed project to include sanitary and storm sewer systems, stormwater systems and water supply/wastewater treatment facilities. i. Coordinate with the Public Works Director (Brian Baker, PE) as to what upgrades of City Infrastructure may be required.
