The Town of Pomfret, Vermont, (“Town”) is accepting proposals from paving companies (“Proposers”) for paving work. Location: Pomfret Road from Rudge Road (T.H. 41) north to Johnson Road (T.H. 26) intersection, approximately 2.3 miles. Pavement to be 22 feet wide overall. 3/4-inch shim of 3/8-inch top for full 2.3 miles. Top coat 1-1/4-inch of 1/2-inch top for entire length. This will include aprons at the intersection of Rudge Road, Labounty Road, Galaxy Hill Road, Webster Hill Road, town offices, town hall and Johnson Road. • Asphalt type – Spot shim then 3/4” inch Type IV shim, then 1-1/4” inch Type III overlay; • Paving shall be done in accordance with applicable latest VTrans specifications; • Liquid Binder shall be PG 58-28 with an alternate bid provided for PG 70-28; • Gyration shall be 65; • End joints shall be milled;
