HOT-MIX ASPHALT Specifications: All paving will be in accordance with the latest Vermont Agency of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Sections 406 & 407, and will include the following: Hot mix asphalt • For pavement thickness and dimensional type see the Road List in the bid documents. The Contractor shall provide 65 gyration Superpave mix with 70-28 liquid asphalt for this contract. Mix design shall meet the requirements of 406.03B COMPOSITION OF MIXTURE- SUPERPAVE of the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction. No more than 25% RAP shall be used. Mix designs shall be submitted to the Town Engineer not less than 2 weeks prior to the first day of scheduled paving. Each days production of HMA shall be produced from a single HMA plant, unless approved by the Engineer.
