HVAC Bid Description: The Town of Chittenden invites contractors to bid on the renovations to the existing HVAC system. In general, the work includes- -removal of existing oil furnace, ductwork controls, oil tank, piping and accessories -replacement of existing control systems -removal and re-installation of ACT ceilings -installation of new scrim support system for insulation located above the existing suspended ceiling at the bottom of the existing horizontal roof framing -installation of new air source heat pumps systems, piping, controls, ductwork and accessories -installation of new supplemental electric heat units and controls -all cutting, patching, painting and repair of finishes affected by the new work as noted on the drawings or as specified herein -all associated electrical work for the project,
