Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specific responsibilities include: 1. Parent representatives (2 or 3) in three supervisory unions must provide 10 hours a week of training and support to youth and families in the school system and community. 2. Parent representatives must participate and engage in training to become a trainer in programs such as Youth Mental Health First Aid® or other similar mental health awareness program that supports youth and families. 3. Parent representatives must participate and engage in training opportunities such as Umatter® or some other similar suicide prevention program identified by the VT Project AWARE State Implementation Team. 4. Parent representatives must participate and engage in training opportunities such as Interconnected Systems Framework or some other similar program to support the schools and their work with School Based Mental Health. 5. Provide a parent representative to participate in any State Level Implementation Meeting/s. 6. Engage with families and youth, the LEA and other inter-agency partners to guide the implementation of Project AWARE activities at the local level to best meet the needs to the school, families and community. 7. Participate in the development of the school level Continuous Improvement Parent and Family Engagement Plans with the LEAs and DAs as needed. 8. Participate in events related to the roll out and periodic update meetings to provide feedback and data.
