The City of South Burlington, Vermont, herein after referred to as the Municipality, is soliciting Construction Inspection Services for two projects being constructed in the 2025 Construction Season Construction which include, but are not limited to, the following: Project 1: City Center Park Phase II - The project is located within the City Center Park and within a permanent recreation easement on private property in South Burlington. Work to be performed under this project includes the construction of multi-modal connections between Garden Street, Market Street, Barrett Street, and Dumont Park. It involves the overlay of an existing gravel path, construction of a new paved path, construction of a new boardwalk, new lighting, landscaping and other related incidentals. The municipality has contracted with VHB, c/o Daniel Peck, PE (Design Engineer) to provide engineering support during the construction phase. Project 2: Garden Street West Shared Use Path - This project is located along Garden Street from the Dorset Street/ Garden Street intersection and extending easterly 388 feet to the east side of the existing box culvert. This pedestrian and bicycling improvement project includes cold planing, paving, curbing, pavement markings, singing, drainage, utility installation, shared use path, water main, and other incidental items. The municipality has contracted with Stantec, c/o Christopher Gendron, PE (Design Engineer) to provide engineering support during the construction phase.
