The Burlington Department of Public Works – Water Resources Division (WRD) is seeking firms to submit their qualifications and price proposal to provide routine and as-needed generator maintenance services through 2030, paid on a unit price per generator service or hourly rate, with a cumulative maximum limiting amount of $75,000 per selected firm per fiscal year. Each of the selected contractors will be expected to enter into a Main On-Call Agreement which will be valid for a five (5) year period. Work will only be authorized through issuance of On-Call Agreement Work Assignments. On-Call work will be paid in accordance with Contractor’s submitted Price Proposal Form. Work Assignment will be based on the scope of the work and information available. Unexpected or unforeseen conditions may warrant additional work beyond the original scope and will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Any changes to the Work Assignment will be issued in writing, except in cases of emergency, in which case they may be confirmed informally and documented later in writing. The City will develop a generator service work plan and provide to the selected Contractor(s) prior to work. Work will typically be on a scheduled basis, generally during normal working hours but could also include after-hours work or as-needed work when emergency conditions arise. The selected firm(s) will be required to provide generator service data to the City in a format to be provided by the WRD. The twelve (12) City owned generators that have been identified for service under this On-Call Agreement are identified in Generator Inventory Table, including generator location, make, model and size information.
