Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department is looking to establish personal service contracts with up to ten companies that can provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform snowplowing services at 66 Department Access Areas. Contracted vendors shall plow sites within 24 hours once a snowfall, or multiple snowfall events, accumulating 4 or more inches has ended. In the case of larger storms, vendors shall plow every 4-8" so to avoid allowing large amounts of snow to accumulate. Snow shall not be plowed in front of portable toilets or boat ramps. Any accumulation of snow in front of toilet facilities as a result of plowing activities shall be removed by contractor. Sanding shall only be done on an as needed basis or as requested by the Department.
