This project involves a comprehensive assessment and upgrade of the existing fire protection system, including the replacement of the fire pump and other components as necessary to be compatible with the new fire pump controller installed in 2022. The scope of work includes the following phases: 2.1.1. Phase 1 Assessment: 2.1.1.1. Conduct a thorough assessment of the entire existing fire protection system, including the fire pump system, piping, valves, and other equipment, to identify remedial actions required to make the system code compliant, operational, and up to date. 2.1.1.2. Provide an estimated opinion of cost for the recommended work. 2.1.2.Phase 2 Design: 2.1.2.1. Programming Phase: 2.1.2.1.1. Develop programming requirements for the new fire pump and existing controller. 2.1.2.1.2. Determine and prepare all necessary permit applications required for the fire pump replacement and assist the State in acquiring all required permits. 2.1.2.1.3. Assist BGS in preparation of Division of Fire Safety construction permit application. 2.1.2.2. Schematic Design Phase:2.1.2.2.1. Field verify and document existing fire pump system components, specifications, and operational data. 2.1.2.2.2. Provide as-built conditions of the fire pump system. 2.1.2.2.3. Produce outline plans, specifications, and details for the fire pump replacement, including integration with the existing controller and programming requirements. 2.1.2.2.4. Submit schematic design documents to the State and allow one week for review and approval prior to progressing to the next phase...
