Specifications include, but are not limited to: Consultant will coordinate efforts for the purchase of 1) fee simple ownership of the property for the reservoir, 2) easements for the transmission line, and 3) possible temporary construction easements needed for construction of the reservoir depending on the physical features of the property obtained. Applicants must follow the requirements imposed by City ordinance and State law associated with the acquisition of property. Procedure shall ensure that should the City have to use eminent domain powers, all previous requirements are met. Consultant will be required to coordinate with the Assistant Public Works Director and the water system engineer. Additionally, the City is currently starting the property acquisition process for the Skyline Drive project. The Site will likely be adjacent to or near the future right-of-way for Skyline Drive. Consultant will be required to coordinate with the Skyline Drive property acquisition agent (Jason Allen).
