Specifications include, but are not limited to: Coordinating and implementing overall construction mitigation plan for upcoming construction projects, etc. The City is seeking proposals from individuals and firms with experience working with government entities, community affairs, real estate development and construction. A. Provide monthly reports of planned construction activity to Salt Lake City businesses. B. Work with project owners and construction teams to coordinate construction activities with businesses and community activities. C. In the event of large or multiple projects in Salt Lake City area Contractor shall form community advisory groups to expand communication opportunities between the projects and the community in order to reduce impacts. D. Coordinate with the City Transportation Department on vehicle and pedestrian lane closures requested in the downtown or Sugar House business areas. E. Attend meetings of business and community groups (i.e., Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Alliance, Downtown Merchants Association, Sugar House Chamber of Commerce, Sugar House Community Council), to report on construction activity planned and receive input on concerns or possible issues. F. Attend bi-weekly special event meetings giving input on issues that could potentially affect Salt Lake City business owners. G. Assist the Transportation Department in communications with the business community on new transportation related projects.
