Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal of this project is to sample every consumable tap in every school in Utah as soon as possible, remediate all taps which sample above 5 ug/L, and collect follow up samples to ensure lead levels have been lowered to protect the health of Utah children. For this goal to be achieved, the Division will need to find a way to process the large volume of samples in a short turnaround time. The Division needs to enter into an agreement with a laboratory which is a National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference Institute (NELAC) certified lab using an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved method to test for lead in drinking water. A field sheet will be submitted with samples that include: Collection date/time; Water System Number (e.g., UTAH18000); Sample source code (e.g., SC001, CP001); Sampling point code (e.g., SC001, CP001)
