Specifications include, but are not limited to: Davis School District (DSD) invites competitive sealed proposals from qualified supplier(s) who can provide and deliver digital learning resources and curriculum for English Language Arts, grades K-6. The District has approximately 35,000 students and 185 teachers in K-6 with 30 teachers and 1000 students per grade level. This RFP is a multi-stage, best-value process that may lead to multiple awards. The District does not guarantee any purchase and will not be responsible for any costs proposers may incur in the preparation or presentation of this proposal. Davis School District’s Purchasing Department is the issuing office for this document and all subsequent addenda relating to it. The reference number for the solicitation is KH24-015. This number should be referenced on all proposals, correspondence, and documentation relating to the RFP. NOTICE: Wherever the term bid, bidder, bidding, or quote appears in this solicitation, it shall be interpreted to mean offeror, as defined in 63G-6a-103(30), RFP, or Request for Proposals as defined in 63G-6a-103(38) and the procurement shall be conducted subject to the provisions of 63G-6a-701-711. The offeror will provide the following resources for each course: • Cards with keywords that help students learn phonics and spelling • Texts for students that include decodable words and stories • Texts for teachers that include instructions and guidance • Resources that help students expand their vocabulary • Component that teaches students how to write effectively and provides teachers with strategies and supports • Integration with Clever and/or Canvas LMS platforms • Materials in online and print formats that help teachers plan their lessons
