Specifications include, but are not limited to: The SLCDPU has determined that the Big Cottonwood Water Treatment Plant (BCWTP) needs to be rebuilt in part or in total based on the condition of the existing facilities, efforts to meet current seismic, electrical, and other codes, safety and reliability concerns, constructability challenges, and criticality of the WTP to the City’s water supply. The project will be conducted in the following five (5) phases. Phase 1 – Alternatives Analysis The successful Consultant will be tasked with providing assessment of, and recommendations for, the BCWTP and the Big Cottonwood Creek water resource. The Consultant will identify, develop, and analyze alternatives for the BCWTP rebuild (i.e., treatment, raw water conveyance, location, etc.), and provide SLCDPU with a recommendation for rebuilding the BCWTP
