Specifications include, but are not limited to: Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) Watershed, in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, seeks a consultant to conduct a comprehensive water system feasibility study for three separate water systems servicing six recreation sites in Big Cottonwood Canyon, located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Salt Lake Ranger District. The project scope is broken into three phases. The consultant's final deliverable will be a report evaluating the feasibility of the water systems (including sources and water rights) tied to the recreation sites in this study. This document will guide determine whether these recreation sites should continue using water and flush toilets or transition to vault toilets. The study will also include a stakeholder session involving SLCDPU staff.
