Specifications include, but are not limited to: A qualified vendor for the construction of the Big Bend Springs Water Collection System in Emery County, Utah. This project includes the development of a new spring in Huntington Canyon, Emery County, Utah. The new spring was selected due to the relatively close proximity to exiting culinary water transmission lines, and visible evidence of ground water in the area as several small seeps are present where ground water is discharging to the surface. It is anticipated that the total collected flows will range from 60 to 100 gallons per minute. Work will also include clearing and grubbing of the site (including some trees in excess of 2 ft. diameter) (Item No. 1-7), exploratory excavation (Item No. 1-13), installation of spring collection line (Item No. 1-12), transmission piping (Item No. 1-26 & 1-27), placing of washed rock (Item No. 1-14), clay cutoff wall (Item No. 1-17), impermeable liner (Item No. 1-15), screened semi-impervious fill (Item No. 1-19), imported semi-impervious fill (Item No. 1-19)(if required), concrete manholes (Item No. 1-20, 1-21, & 1-23), overhead creek crossing (Item No. 1-6), final site grading (Item No. 1-24), seeding (Item No. 1-24), stock-tight fencing around collection area (Item No. 1-9 & 1-10), and related work.
