Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Become familiar with the Utah SSO Programs, Operations, Standards and Procedures. ● Develop, revise, update and distribute SSO Program information and Data as needed. ● Track UTA’s audits, along with schedules, procedures and checklists used to conduct internal and external safety audits. ● Maintain a record of and track all findings and recommendations to closure, of all UDOT and FTA audits. ● Track, file and monitor all reports that UTA is required to provide the Department in accordance with the Department’s SSO Standards and Procedures. ● Develop and maintain a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) Log. Follow up on all CAP’s until they are closed. ● Maintain files of all reportable UTA light rail safety events. Develop and maintain a checklist of all information required by FTA or UDOT. Complete the checklist for each event. Track and file all report and data provided for said events. ● Prepare for, coordinate, attend and participate in UTA and the Department’s meetings as required. Maintain files of meeting agendas and minutes. Develop agendas and keep minutes of all meetings initiated by the SSO. ● Develop and submit the Annual Report to the FTA by designated due date each year, summarizing oversight activities for the preceding twelve months.
