The Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) is soliciting Statements of Interest and Qualifications (SOQ’s) from qualified consulting teams or firms with the experience and expertise to provide design, bidding, and construction management services for the 2100 SOUTH CAPACITY UPGRADE PROJECT. The existing sewer is 12-inch sewer line with a mixture of CIPP lined VCP, unlined VCP, UCP (unreinforced concrete pipe), and PVC. It will need to be upsized to 15-inch and 18-inch pipe for capacity needs. Manhole replacement and lateral reconnection will be part of this project. An additional task of re-routing the sewer line from MH 22490 to MH 22404 may be added to the project. That line connects a manhole near Highland High School to the main line in the street. Currently, the line runs under an athletic field and is inaccessible for maintenance.
