The project consists of installing approximately 1,170 feet of 8-inch C-900 PVC pipe in American Fork City streets. 8-inch C-900 will be installed and tied into the existing culinary water line at the intersection of 400 East and State Street. 8-inch C-900 will be installed between State Street and Elm Street. 8-inch C-900 PVC pipe will be installed on Elm Street from 400 East to 500 East where the new 8-inch C-900 pipe will be tied into the existing culinary water at the intersection of 500 East and Elm. New culinary water service laterals will be installed to the homes and businesses on the new 8-inch culinary water line. The existing water services on 400 East between Elm Street and Main Street will be relocated from the existing 4-inch water line (to be abandoned) to the existing 10-inch ductile iron pipe. Work includes installing the appropriate fittings, valves, fire hydrants, and culinary service connections. This work also includes the transfer of water services from the existing 4-inch ductile iron pipe to the existing 10-inch ductile iron pipeline on 200 South between 200 East and 300 East. Work to be performed will include fittings, valves, meters, excavation, backfilling, asphalt replacement, and landscape restoration.
