Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education (OCHE) internal audit division has been working with the following four institutions within the Utah System of Higher Education (USHE) to provide internal Information Technology (IT) audit services: Utah Tech University Salt Lake Community College Snow College Southern Utah University Internal IT audit services, provided through OCHE, have included conducting IT risk assessments and performing selected audits based on the results of risk assessments performed at each institution. Examples of selected audits include: Information Security Awareness Programs IT Governance and staffing Security of event ticketing and management systems Access controls to ERP systems Decentralized IT systems OCHE hired an IT auditor to perform these functions and has had an IT auditor on staff for the past two years. The IT auditor recently resigned and rather than hiring a new auditor OCHE is wanting to solicit bids from vendors to perform this internal IT audit work for the next three to five years.
