Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will perform maintenance, repair, replacement and new installation of sectional doors as requested by UDOT representative. All work is to be performed by a manufacturer certified repair technician. Many repairs will need to be completed in a timely matter for security and safety reasons. As such, the contractor will be expected to perform both emergency and non-emergency repairs, including emergency on site response within 8 hours of notification. - Upward-acting Sectional Doors This contractor will provide replacement overhead doors in the sizes shown in Attachment D as requested by the Owner. Contractor may also be requested to provide electric operators for existing overhead doors. - Miscellaneous Metal; metal framing and supports. This contractor will be required to make alterations to reinforce, repair or provide metal framing and supports for overhead doors installed under this contract. All steel exposed to exterior conditions shall be galvanized. - Finish Hardware; key cylinders for locks. Overhead doors supplied under this contract shall come complete with standard hardware. Key cylinders shall be provided when requested by the Owner. - Painting; field painting. Any material provided under this contract that does not come pre-finished shall be painted. Pre-finished items damaged during installation shall be touched up. Steel that is not galvanized shall first have a rust inhibitive shop applied primer coat. All painted surfaces shall be painted with paint appropriate for the substrate. - Electrical; wiring. This contractor shall provide all necessary wiring, conduit, breakers and receptacles as required for a complete and functional operation.
